Jacto autonomous sprayer wins Gerdau Best of the Earth award
MAY 2022 – Jacto received the Gerdau Best of the Earth Award during Agrishow 2023. The winning equipment was the Arbus 4000 JAV autonomous sprayer in the "Scale Agriculture" category. In its 35th edition, the award recognizes innovative agribusiness solutions.
Arbus 4000 JAV is the first Brazilian autonomous sprayer on the market. It is available with a subscription-based sales model, which includes a complete application solution, spraying operation monitoring, and state-of-the-art vehicle technology, with significant gains based on information collected by the machine and from the environment.

Pioneering spirit and Innovation – Since 2008, Jacto has worked on developing the JAV - Jacto Autonomous Vehicle - and has already presented two models to the market in prototype form: the JAV 1 in 2010 and the JAV 2 in 2013. The tests were conducted on silviculture and citrus crops. The Arbus 4000 JAV model was presented as a commercially viable product, available as a complete service for rural producers.
This year, there were 35 subscriptions to the Gerdau Best of the Earth Award, with 25 different brands divided into three categories: "Agrishow Innovation - Family Agriculture," "Agrishow Innovation - Scale Agriculture," and "Digital Innovation Agrishow."
Participants are exhibiting companies at Agrishow. The registered solutions are assessed by a judging committee formed by masters and doctors in Agronomic and Agricultural Engineering.
