Jacto reinforces its presence in South Africa with spray technologies focused on reducing inputs and providing local support08/05/2026

MAY 2026 – In a scenario where global agriculture demands increasing ability to adapt, Jacto confirms once again its participation at NAMPO Harvest Day, held from May 12 to 15, 2026, in Bothaville, South Africa. With its own stand and local dealers, Jacto will attend the fair to showcase technologies that optimize South African farmers' productivity.

“The agricultural sector in South Africa faces a challenging 2026. The pressure on profit margins is intensified by exchange rate volatility (Rand versus Dollar) and the sharp increase in operational costs, with fuel accounting for 13% of a harvest's cost. To deal with all these setbacks, Jacto will show a portfolio focused on optimizing resources”, Edson Bueno, Jacto International Sales Manager, highlights.

One of Jacto’s main highlights is the Uniport 3030 self-propelled sprayer, designed for farmers who seek maximum operational application efficiency and precision. Featuring technologies such as nozzle-by-nozzle and automatic section control systems, overlap reduction can reach up to 50% and save up to 10% on agrochemical costs.

For the grain market, the Advance line of pull-type sprayers, including the Advance 3000 AM18 Vortex model, is the direct response to reducing input waste. Thanks to the Vortex air-assistance and Multicontrol systems with automatic section controller, drift is reduced, and overlaps are avoided, ensuring each droplet of agrochemical is applied where necessary and protecting farmers' investment.

For high-value-added crops, such as citrus and nuts, Jacto will display the Arbus family. From the compact pull-type sprayer Arbus 400, ideal for agile maneuvers, to the Arbus 4000 Tower, which ensures total coverage from the top to the bottom of the plant, Jacto technology ensures crop protection is not compromised by weather changes or emerging pests.

"We understand that, for South African farmers, resilience in 2026 has become a survival and growth necessity. Our precision agriculture technologies and air-assistance systems have been improved to reduce fuel and agrochemical waste, which are today major concerns in farming. More than machines, we deliver trust and the assurance that farmers are not alone to face the market uncertainties”, Bueno says.

In addition to the technological innovation, Jacto will reinforce at Nampo the crucial role its robust dealership network plays in the area, offering quality customer support.

Jacto believes that efficiency outside farms depends on agile technical support and always available service. Jacto’s slogan "Always there for you" reflects this commitment: to be present at every step of the journey, providing farmers with the best solutions in mechanization, information, and services, thus contributing to their noble mission of feeding the world.
